Originally from Northern Virginia, Jennifer was sociable yet introspective during her childhood. She enjoyed physical activities and daydreaming, embodying a people-oriented, highly sensitive, and empathic personality. Although she excelled academically and graduated with honors from George Mason University with a major in Spanish, she felt confined by societal norms and struggled with fitting the mold set by her upbringing.
A study abroad experience in Madrid broadened her perspective, yet she continued to grapple with societal expectations. After a decade of unfulfilling corporate jobs battling mental health challenges, burnout, and substance abuse, Jennifer reached a turning point.
It must also address mental and emotional well-being, fostering a connection to a greater purpose for enduring health and harmony.
Despite being terrified and lacking self-confidence, she returned to college at age 35 to pursue her passion of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.
After graduating, Jennifer gained valuable experience working in a hospital setting and various outpatient clinic settings. She now serves a diverse, often critically ill population in home health PT. Her personal challenges have deepened her understanding of health systems and well-being, leading to a journey of inner healing and self-discovery. Jennifer is passionate about sharing her story to inspire others, demonstrating that it is possible to transform your life by believing in yourself, seeking support, and persevering through challenges.
